Chefs Jackets Can Be Stylish Too!
When working in a busy kitchen/cooking environment it can become very hot and unpleasant, but with professional chefs jackets you can stay cool and dry. This uniform is also the symbol of professionalism of a chef. Chefs have been wearing these jackets since the sixteenth century. Marie Antoine Careme designed the modern chef jackets in the mid 1800s. He transformed these dresses and gave them a new look. The chefs used to wear grey-coloured jackets before this was introduced. The new jackets for the chefs had a double breasted design. After that this became the trademark and chefs till now wear white double breasted coats.
Professional chefs jackets are usually made from pure cotton. The chef can wear these double-breasted coats from both sides
